As a child, nutrition and exercise were not a priority in Lisa’s house. Her first introduction to fitness was when
she joined the Army at 17. At that time, her diet consisted of Sonic milkshakes and cheap convenience foods. She was
about 20 pounds overweight and so de-conditioned she couldn’t run the perimeter of a building without throwing up.
During the 8 weeks of basic training, she lost 15 pounds and could breeze through the push-ups, sit-ups, and 2-mile run.
During that 8 weeks, she began to understand what her body was capable of accomplishing and the mental attitude it takes
to get it done.
She has been challenging herself ever since. She says that it doesn’t always come easy, but anything’s possible if you are willing to give it all you’ve got. As a personal trainer, her goal is to help clients realize their true potential, both physically and mentally. From her own personal experience, she KNOWS anything is possible, and she believes it to be true for anyone with the strength to believe in themselves! About her: Wife, mom to 2 amazing kids, like the travel, handyman, reader, love a challenge, like to try new things!
